Meet Matthew Parsons

I hold a Bachelor of Science (hons), Bachelor of Psychological Science (hons) and Masters in Clinical Psychology. I am a Sydney based Registered Psychologist and member of the Australian Psychology Society.

I have experience in psychological assessment and treatment of adults and I have worked across a range of sectors, including corporate, non government organisations and private practice. I draw on science, evidenced based practice and clinical skills to create a safe, non-judgemental and trauma informed therapeutic space. I use a client centred approach and enjoy working collaboratively with clients to help them achieve practical outcomes that are meaningful and purposeful for them.

Having worked in corporate prior to becoming a psychologist and now working as a psychologist, I have observed a nationwide need for people to access affordable mental health treatment. As such, the virtual mind centre was founded, which is built around the values of equality, empathy, compassion, growth and empowerment, and underpinned by a philosophy that all people should be able access affordable mental health support.
